Father's Day is a time to honor our dads. As we spend the day celebrating our earthly fathers, let us also thank our Father in heaven for a gift of earthly father. Fatherhood is a special role in a man’s life. Through that role they have shown love and compassion to their children, that is modeled after our Father in heaven. God describes himself as a loving father who cares for us and leads us, even disciplining us at times, just like an earthly father does. Let’s give our time today to love our fathers back and enjoy spending time with them if you can. Happy Father’s Day, to all the fathers!
