Luke 12:48
“From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked”. God has blessed each one of us in incredible ways, in our talents, gifts and resources. And we are supposed to share it with others in our community. In Luke 12:41-48, Jesus answers Peter of our responsibility to be a faithful servant. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required. God entrusted us with great blessings, as we are His own children. And we are to honor the Lord with our best fruits and best efforts. And serve Him back with what He gave us freely. Freely you have received; freely give (Matt 10:8). We've been given much; God expects much from us!

Corinthians 13:4-7
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. God’s love is perfect and it models how we should love others. We, humans are not perfect but we should strive to follow these qualities. We let down others by ourselves but when we experience God’s love and have relationship with Him, we will be able to show His love to others. God’s love is amazing and nothing can separate you from God’s love (Romans 8:39). You are secure in His love. His perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). There is nothing to fear because God already knows all your mistakes and still loves you deeply. God’s perfect love empowers us to love others like He loves us. |
