Are you living a life that is unfruitful? Are you living in wilderness? Israelites lived in wilderness for 40 years. Even then, none of the promises failed that the Lord gave to Israel.
Joshua 21:45 says Not one of the good promises which the LORD had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass. The mistakes that you’ve made are forgiven and God can still turn around and fulfill your promises. God has unfailing promises for your life and you need to go and claim it for yourself. God wants to bless you with abundant victorious life, don’t live your life in bondage. Don’t settle for less than what God had planned for your life. Leave the places and things that are demeaning your life and leaving your life in despair. Leave the negative world and go to feet of Jesus. Don’t get stuck but get unstuck and be free. Look around, wake up, believe and have faith in His promises, they are for you. Be on alert and listen to His still small voice that is waking you up to receive His promises for your life. Believe and receive, that all the promises that He has given to you will all come to pass.

Life happens and you wonder why it happened to you. When God is working in your life, He has to reroute you to some other way so that His plans in your life will come to fruition. God works in mysterious ways that is not completely comprehensible by us. His ways are higher.
Isaiah 55:8-9 says 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Embrace His word that is living and true. His ways are coming through in your life, as God is working with His Own Hands on your life. His hedge of protection is over you as He is leading you in His direction. His thoughts and His ways are always higher than ours. Submit to His plans and be at peace. In the present world that we are living in, it’s hard to walk in truth and please God. The world says it’s ok to do certain things that are not pleasing to God. The pressure of friends around you can be overwhelming sometimes that you succumb to whatever they demand of you.
Romans 12: 2 says, Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. As believers, we need to live a life that is pleasing to God, since He is the author and finisher of our lives. Our life that we live belongs to father God. His blood flows in us and His DNA is in us. Don’t let the world dictate you how to live your life and act. Let us all walk-in God’s will and follow the lifestyle that is pleasing to Him. Our God is with us wherever we go. Sometimes life seems to be aimless or routine or hectic, sometimes it is heart wrenching and unfair but don’t worry God got your back. His eyes are always on you, watching over you and leading you in every step. Our job is to trust Him completely, and acknowledge Him in all His plans for us. When we walk in His will, blessings abound.
Joshua 1:9 says Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. We need to put all our hope and trust in Him because He loves us and looks out for us. He promises to be with us wherever we go. The negativity around this world can be discouraging and depressing. Rely on Him and submit yourself and walk in obedience to His will in your life. He will guide us in the path that He has set for us. So, let us stay strong and courageous. And live a fearless, confident and victorious life in Him. As we enter fall season, we see weather cooling down, leaves changing colors and daylight getting lesser. And most of us enjoy this weather. May be sitting outdoors and enjoying the creation of God and meditating on Him and we are filled with sense of gratitude. Yes, it’s a season of harvest and thankfulness. Harvest means to reap, gather and store. What we have, we bring it to the Lord and honor our Lord with substance since we are grateful to Him and acknowledge Him.
The Bible says “Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your produce” Proverbs 3:9 So, bring your first fruits to our Lord, God and savior. Honor Him with your first best fruits that He has blessed you with. In old testament Exodus 22:29 talks about not delaying your offerings of your first fruits. In return, God will continue to bless us and take care of every need. God promises His blessings in return. He asks us to test Him and He shall open for you the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing until it overflows (Malachi 3:10). So, let’s start this season with giving to the Lord and to others around us. And glorify our Lord in heaven. |
