1 Peter 5:6 - Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Lent season is the best time to draw closer to God. Walking with God in humbleness, faithfulness and obedience. This is the time of preparation for what is yet to come. Jesus was tempted in the wilderness but by praying and fasting He rebuked temptations with the perfect faith and obedience. He has overcome this world and we can too, with Him on our side. The Lenten season reminds us of our need for a Savior as a time to reflect and repent for our shortcomings. Lent prepares us as we approach Good Friday and Easter with thanksgiving for the grace and mercy shown to us. As we pray and seek God wholeheartedly, He will show up faithfully every time. As we trust Him to turn ashes into beauty, we will see the breakthroughs and miracles happening. We have hope in Him alone. Spend more time with God everyday and experience the miracle that is yet to come.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
To all the faithful ones, keep doing good and don't give up. When we are in Christ, it's natural to be doing good and honoring others. Doing good involves yielding to the Spirit and exhibiting the fruit He produces—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal 5:22-23). It is important to rest while you serve. Jesus rested and so should we (Mark 6:31). Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Mark 14:38). We will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up doing good. |
