Romans 12:15
Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
 
We are one big family that follows Jesus. When we are in one body of Christ, we rejoice with those who rejoice. When one weeps, we all weep together, praying for each other in trails and afflictions that the world brings.
 
We are brothers and sisters in the Lord, there is no comparison. Don’t waste your energy trying to impress each other. Because at the end of life, we all will be uniting in heaven, the place we call Home.
 
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12
 
Let us all strive to be heavenly minded.

Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
 
God’s timing is everything. If you are waiting for His promises to come true, then it would happen only in His perfect timing. We can’t rush things or be disappointed but be patient because we trust Him.
 
While we wait, learn to enjoy life and serve Him wholeheartedly. There are negative voices around you that might discourage you, don’t listen to the lies of the enemy, but trust God and His timing.
 
He is working on it and anything you ask in His name; He will do it (John 14:14). Be patient and expect great things because He is our true God. He is for us and not against us. If God is for us, nothing can be against us (Romans 8:31).
 
Let us have steadfast faith in His promises to come true in His perfect timing.

Isaiah 42:5
God, the LORD, created the heavens and stretched them out. He created the earth and everything in it. He gives breath to everyone, life to everyone who walks the earth.
 
The very breath that we have is from God. Genesis 2:7 says then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.
 
Each time we breathe we know that we are from Him. We belong to him and we are of Him. He even made us in own His image (Genesis 1:27). The gifts and talents that we have, belong to Him.
 
Everything that we have is from Him and belong to Him. When we realize that our life is depended on the breath that we take, which belongs to Him, how much more we need to give to Him, that belongs to Him and not our own.
 
Let’s give to God what belongs to Him and acknowledge who He is.

Psalm 84:11
For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
The Lord will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold
From those who walk uprightly.
 
Our Lord is gracious and merciful God and He will never withhold any good thing from us. He is always ready to bless us with bountiful grace that we don’t deserve. Yet because of His unfailing and unconditional love for us, we have His free gift of grace.
 
His gift of grace is freely available and it cannot be earned. When we receive Him in our heart and acknowledge that He is the true God and walk with Him, and then we are already receiving His gift of grace. He is our perfect God whose love is unfathomable by us, the imperfect beings.
 
As believers when we experience His grace and mercy, we are set free from this world’s bondage, which will help us walk uprightly because we are grateful and we trust Him in everything.

Receive His free gift of grace today and walk closer with Him.

Psalm 33:12
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance.
 
We worship a true God and we are blessed to live in a free country. Our job is to be faithful to God and use this freedom to serve Him and our country sincerely and faithfully.
 
All of us enjoy this freedom peacefully by celebrating in fellowship and food on this holiday. When we are spending time with friends and family this week, let us be aware of the blessing of freedom and have a grateful attitude.
 
Take time to rest and reflect and be thankful that He chose us for His inheritance. We are one Blessed Nation. Let us have the attitude of gratitude and live freely and for Him, who is the creator and ruler of all.
