John 8:12
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” On this Christmas, as we remember Christ’s birth, let’s ponder about what Jesus represents and what His purpose on this earth was. The main purpose was to save each one of us and that none should perish (John 3:16). Also to bring us in close connection, and bridge us to our Father in heaven. When we are in connection with Him, His Holy Spirit is active and helps us to live lives that reflect and represent who Jesus is. So, from here on let’s focus on the things above which is more meaningful eternally than temporary things that shatter in a moment. Jesus said, I am the light of the world. Make room to receive Him today and be in the light of His presence which is continual source of our everyday living. Merry Christmas, everyone!
