Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
 
We go through emotions every day, whether that is happy, sad, disappointments or pleasant surprises. And we control our mind by the emotions that we feel. Our mind is a battlefield.
 
As Christians, we need to let the Holy Spirit control our mind, which leads to life and peace. All the carnal decisions that we make always lead to death.
 
Most of the time, we are not aware of it. Learn to check your minds every often and steer towards spiritual thinking which will keep us calm and composed because of His presence.
 
Don’t let emotions dictate your everyday life. Let the Holy Spirit control your mind.

Psalms 1:2-3
2.But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.
3.They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
 
Most of us are busy doing things and living our busy lives. But how many of us take time to read the word of God and meditate on it? The Bible says clearly, to delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.
 
When we meditate on His word and delight in His law, the benefits are amazing. We get to experience fruit that comes from His hand of blessing. Whatever we do, we will prosper. How awesome is that.
 
By meditating on Him, we will have no time to think of negative things that go around us. Instead of dwelling on offenses, we will be taking His presence with us everywhere we go.
 
In this world of chaos, be the one who carries His presence.

Psalm 36:5
Your lovingkindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
 
Our God is loving, kind and faithful. It is so vast that it extends to heavens and skies. Even when we fall short, God is still faithful to us, not little bit but infinitely faithful.
 
As Christians, we need to follow His character. As humans, we always fall short but through His strength we can be more loving, more kind and more faithful than we are, right now. Each small step we take is moving forward. Little by little we need to move forward and rise to be more like Him.
 
Our mistakes are forgotten and forgiven. Don’t condemn yourself as it hinders to move forward. Let go and let God lead you to be who you are created to be.
 
Let us strive to be faithful like Him.

Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.
 
God created you to be the light. Matthew 5:14 says you are the light. And it needs to shine so that everyone will know and praise your heavenly Father (Matthew 5:16).
 
We serve Jesus, who is the light of the world and if you follow Him, you will have the light that leads to life (John 8:12). Stop chasing the world and seek after Jesus and be His light that shines the brightest.
 
Your identity is in Jesus who loves you unconditionally. You are defined by His grace and forgiveness. Do not hold back the light that is supposed to shine for Him and through Him.
 
Overcome darkness and be the light that shines for Him.
