Luke 17:19
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. Jesus heals ten lepers (Read Luke 17:11-19), but only one comes back to thank Him. Though he was a Samaritan, his faith was expressed by his act of grateful praise. Nine of the ten lepers who were healed kept going and never returned to thank Jesus. As Christians we have experienced God’s healing, goodness and grace so much that sometimes we take it for granted and forget to thank Him. The real blessing that one leper received on the top of healing was wholeness. When he went to thank Jesus, He said thy faith hath made thee whole (Luke 17:19). Being whole is important to be an effective Christian. The authentic gratitude is an act of faith and the result is the wholeness.
