Rejoice in Him - By Esther Campbell

During this season of gift giving and receiving, we may not be perfectly happy or the joy may be temporary. Do not expect or place your happiness in the things of the world, instead delight or rejoice in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). Our true gift comes from Him, the birth of His Son which is our gift of salvation. Submit yourselves fully to the Lord and seek Him with all your heart.
 
When we seek His kingdom and His will, all our needs are met and our desires are completely fulfilled. John 4:14 says Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life. Let us all drink from His well and we will never thirst or desire for the earthly things.

Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!
 
The true Joy comes from seeking Him and drinking from His eternal well. As we worship the Lord with all our hearts, minds and souls, we commit our whole life to Him alone, then we experience the eternal Joy in His Holy presence.
