1 Samuel 2:1-2, “Then Hannah prayed and said: ‘My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.’”
Hannah in the old testament, prayed for a son. She was praying so hard that her lips were moving but no sound came out so that the priest, Eli, thought she was drunk. God answered her prayers, opening her barren womb, giving her a son. The sincere prayers of a mother moved God’s heart. One of the best gifts we can give our children is the gift of prayer. Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking. You have a Heavenly Father who’s eager to answer. Not only prayers for physical protection, but more importantly, spiritual protection for their minds and hearts. The future may be uncertain, but God is unchanging and fully capable of taking care of your children. We are ever grateful for our praying Mothers. Happy Mother’s Day!
