Our words that we use are important, they can make or break a person. Think twice before you say a word.
Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. What kind of words are we using? Does it bring glory to God? Are we building or tearing others? These are the some of the questions that we need to ask ourselves. Ephesians 4:29 says, Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. The words that we speak to others and ourselves should be encouraging and uplifting. The root of the problem is our mind. Our thoughts over time, become words in action. Philip 4:8 says, And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Let us all strive to have mind of Christ so that we can speak life to others and ourselves and be part of building His kingdom bringing glory and honor to His holy name.
