Stay the Course - By Esther Campbell

Life is full of ups and downs. Some days are busy and some days are quiet. Some days are rough and some days are smooth. When everything is going good, it’s easy to stay the course and focus on Jesus. When discouragements and disappointments come that’s when we try our minds to reason and try to resolve issues instead of looking up to Him.
 
When you feel, weak and beaten down, seek the Lord and ask Him to help you stay in His path. Pray earnestly and seek Him by saying, Psalm 17: 5 - Uphold my steps in Your paths, that my footsteps may not slip.
 
Take comfort in His word for it is true and powerful, which helps you to stay the course. He guards the paths of justice, and preserves the way of His saints (Proverbs 2:8).
 
Spending time with the Lord gives us the strength to stay the course. And relying, trusting and following His word guides us to live our life in His ways, for Psalm 37:23 says the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.
 
Every day, spend time in His word and His presence and stay the course for the day of His coming is near.
