Philippians 2:3-4
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

In this world, it’s easy to be selfish and consider your own interests. Look around and see other’s hurt. When you are self-absorbed, it’s hard to see the hurts of others.

Jesus was moved with compassion and healed the sick (Matt. 14:14).  As Christians, we need to follow Jesus, when we follow Jesus and move with compassion, we value others above ourselves.
 
Some of the worldly might take advantage of you but keep doing good and don’t give up (Galatians 6:9). Judas Iscariot who was invited to last supper betrayed Jesus and, people mocked and spit on Him. But Jesus, with all humility stayed calm and asked the Father in heaven to forgive them.
 
Follow Jesus and value others in humility.
