John 4:24
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth. When we worship our Lord in Spirit and truth, we need to do it with all our heart, soul and mind (Matt 22:37). Worshiping Him is not just praising Him on a Sunday morning but it needs to come deep down from our spirit (John 4:23). We need to have that inner desire to please Him and live for Him (Phil 1:21), being grateful and by glorifying Him (Psalm 86:12). Our lives need to reflect that we are His worshipers. We worship Him not because He is blessing us but because He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is the name above all names. Exalt His holy name, because of who He is (Phil 2:9-11). While you worship Him, forget everything that is around you and meditate on Him and seek His presence. We focus on Him alone and He becomes our center of attention because He is our only God (Exodus 20:3). Nothing will satisfy us more than worshiping Him radically. When we worship Him radically, our life starts to reflect Him. We are not confused or insecure. Our life is content and complete in Him. For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. (Psalm 107:9). Our desire is more heavenly focused than earthly. We hunger and thirst for His word and we long to listen to Him and obey. And He answers us through our worship to Him. So, let us all worship Him in the Spirit and truth.
